Sauteed Carrots


3 tablespoons olive oil
2 large clove garlic, minced
6 carrots, cut diagonally into slices
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
4 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon basil


1) In a small pot add carrots to water and boil for 5 minutes. Drain water and set carrots aside
2) Heat olive oil, lemon in fry pan on low heat. Add garlic, honey, salt, pepper, basil and carrots. Cook covered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes
3) Serve in a bowl as a side dish
