Zucchini Turkey Chile
Turkey Chili- Rich in protein
Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons organic olive oil
1 pound ground turkey
1 onion (chopped)
2 cups bone broth (see recipe on website)
1 can canned crushed tomatoes
1 can canned kidney beans or black beans (drained, rinsed)
2 tablespoons garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 zucchinis (washed and spiralled)
Parmesan Cheese (grated)
Directions
1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, sea salt & pepper. Fry for two minutes
2. Add ground turkey, cook and stir until evenly browned, 6 to 8 minutes.
3. Add broth, tomatoes, kidney or black beans.
4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
5. Fill pot with water and bring to a boil. Toss in spiraled zucchini and boil for 2-3 minutes.
6. Remove spiraled zucchini into strainer.
7. Serve zucchini into bowls and top with chili.
