Basil Pesto


2 cups basil leaves
1/2 cup organic olive oil
1 clove of garlic
1/4 cup grated parmesano reggiano cheese
1/4 cup pine nuts or almonds
salt & pepper to taste


1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and shred to desired consistency. Add additional olive oil if needed.
2. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
